What is the true meaning of chorva?
Well chorva could mean alot of things… It just depends how you use it.
I have decided to elaborate chorva for the reason that I always say it here in my blogtsina [CHORVA-CHORVA-CHORVA] and I don’t want someone/somebody left out and have no idea what I am talking about, kaya chorvahin ko na ang pagkarir sa chovaloo na ito.
Here are some chorva-chorva examples…
1. Ate yong chorvang pinabibili mo wala sa chorvaley. - That is me talking to Madame, after she have asked me to buy some milk at the grocery.
2. Ayaw cho-morva ni chorva! - That still me talking to Madame. Telling that her that her dog Jake, doesn’t want to pee or poo.
Oh well, sana nakatulong kahit papaano? Kung hindi eto pa… Ayon sa aking mga researcher elves…
CHORVA has its etymology from the Greek word “cheorvamus,” meaning “for lack of the right word to say,” or “in place of anything you want to express but cannot verbalize.” Ibig sabihin pala, siya ay parang “aloha” sa wikang Hawaiiano, which can mean many, many things…

mga friends ko yan ang sinsabi namin pag wala na kaming masabi sample “ano ba yan.. churva kasi..” haha.. it’s very useful try nila.. :p apir tayo!!!

i don’t like chorva coz it’s sooooo chorva. I like chovarloo better because ah… eh… chorva lang!

hoy! totoo ba ‘yang greek etymology ng cheorvamus na’yan. hahaha, naparesearch tuloy ako pero ala naman akong makitang results sa google. hahaha
e pano naman ‘yung mga chenes-chenes, derived din sa root word na cheorvamus? hahaha

your chorva has got a counterpart here in UK, it’s “dooda”. So anything that is not worded immediately, you’d hear dooda in exchange. i.e that dooda is cool.
