Mother’s Day is a time of commemoration and celebration for all the Mother’s out there. Mother’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday May 11, 2008, which is a few weeks from now, mother’s day really stresses me out, cause you know why? Well, for one I have to think and prepare something hmm let me re-phrase that, I have to prepare something very special for my mother, and sometimes I am running out of ideas already, I am a perfectionist and I want something that she’ll never forget.

I was thinking of shopping for mother’s day gifts. But, I know whatever I get her she will like it. May it be flowers, chocolates candy, balloons, and or jewelry…

These are just the common gifts around mother’s day. However, as a daughter I know I can make uncommon gifts out of these items with a little imagination. Anyways the whole point of mother’s day is to let her know how much WE appreciate her (our mother’s). However, this doesn’t have to be done by purchasing or creating the perfect gift. In fact, it doesn’t even take perfect words. All you need to do is speak from the heart and let her know that of all the things she has done in her life, one of them was being a terrific mother - And I was actually thinking I can maybe join the exciting “Celebrate Mom For Who She Is Contest” for my mother.
