More About Me...

I have alot of self-esteem, which is amazing. Cause I am probably somebody who wouldn't necessarily have alot of self-esteem... As I am considered a Minority.

Another Tit-Bit...

If you are a woman, a person of color, gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans-gender, a person of size, a person of intelligence, a person of integrity... Then you are considered a Minority in this world.

Beauty Advice

Admit it, we love beauty products since we were little girls, we had fun experimenting with brands, colors and formulations. But just how much do we know about them? How they are made and how safe they are?, and if it’s right for us… Our skin plays a very important role in our body, and I am going to tell you everything you wanted to know to keep that skin healthy and glowing.

Skin care is very important! Because your skin reflects just everything about you - may it be inside or out. If you are tired, sick or even stressed it’ll show on your skin the tone, color and condition. And the opposite is true, luckily! Your skin is said to glow when you are happy and healthy. It is really important to care for your skin, cause as the saying says - the outside you - reflects the inside you.

I have found a source for that younger you, www.skinhealthtoday.com - truly an excellent source for that healthy and beautiful you! There is even a blog filled with tons of helpful tips. Gift Giving…

“Happiness comes from giving, not getting. If we try hard to bring happiness to others, we cannot stop it from coming to us also. To get joy, we must give it, and to keep joy, we must scatter it.” John Templeton

When giving a gift you have to consider the occasion if it’s for a birthday, wedding , retirement sendoffs and trendy holiday soirees etc.

Call me cheap but, I don’t give a gift that has the same monetary value as someone gave me. What I do is, I try to find the nicest thing I can give with my means… Another thing, You don’t have to reciprocate if you receive an unexpected gift from someone. And certainly don’t say: “I’ll have something for you later! Uhg *that is totally a no-no*

Para sa akin, it’s not what you have given it’s the thought that counts diva? Kahit pa binigyan ka ng notebook at lapis kahit hindi na no read at no write ka - salamat pa din dapat ang sagot mo dito… No matter what - SALAMAT!

I wanted to share y’all - My Christmas nightmare…

I just hate people who doesn’t appreciate things. Instead of just saying “gee thanks” what they do is complain blah-blah-blah… Isa lang masasabi ko dito.

*WALA KANG $UTANG NA LOOB LECHE, IKAW NA NGA JAN ANG NAALALA, REKLAMO KA PA!*

Don’t you just hate those kind of people? I am not saying that everybody’s like that, but somehow in your so called life you have or may have encountered one or two maybe?

I do really get offended with things like this, and sometimes I think I should just take out the pain of gift giving… *LECHE! O ETONG $5.00 bumili ka ng buhay mo!*

Have you ever given someone something that later you found out they didn’t like?

Just how much do you think, can you take?

Q: How much blood can you lose - and still survive?

A: Most adults have between 6.7 and 9.8 pints of blood. A human can tolerate the loss of 15 percent of this, bu then the suffer begins to feel dizzy, faint, cold or irritable and heart rate increases. Well a loss of 40 percent means there is not enough blood to fill the chambers of the heart, and the heartbeat becomes rapid and irregular. This can prove fatal.

Q: What degree of cold can humans survive?

A: Normal human body temperature is 98.6F. Hypothermia kicks in if core temperature drops even slightly. At 96.8F reaction times slow and at straight line is difficult. 89.6F most people will collapse, lapsing into unconsciousness at 86F.

Q: How much water can you drink in an hour?

A: 17.5 pints in an hour is the maximum. Above that, and the body’s electrolyte levels are dangerously diluted. Drinking 17.5 pints each hour would be lethal. Do not do it.

Never Ending Happiness

Some of you may ask what is The Sedona Method? Well, it is a self-help technique developed by the late engineer/physicist/businessman Lester Levenson after a serious heart attack nearly ended his life. Lester regained his health and attributed his renewed positive outlook to a process of self-inquiry of one’s beliefs and related emotions.

The process is designed to examine any emotion that one is experiencing and then “let it go” or release it in the moment. The basic premise is that all emotions naturally come and go out of experience unless one resists them. The idea is supported in the writings of Carl Jung who noted, “What we resist persists.”

Some people may refer The Sedona Method as a new earth. Sedona Method only promises you’ll feel renewed happiness, confidence and less stress, its clientele is broad reaching. Through books, audio books, conferences and the Web site, The Sedona Method reaches people across the world, in major corporations and individuals just like you and me.

Let’s put it this way, it is the key to securing the happiness that is yours . . . forever . . . is to discover how to discharge the negative feelings you’ve accumulated. By discharging these negative feelings, you will not only increase the happiness in your life, but everything else will get better too, name it - whatever you want, may it be Money, Health, Relationships, Good Looks and much more - Will all be yours with The Sedona Method.

Impulsive…

It was really a spur of the moment decision to go to the casino at 3AM in the morning, and to think the casino is not in our neighborhood, it is like 45 minutes drive away from our place.

I really don’t gamble, I do - every now and then to entertain myself (entertainment for me is to loose all my monies)! It hasn’t been a lesson for me, cause I have never won any single penny from gambling, but I still gamble…

I work 6 days a week. And I have gambled a pay check from my week earnings… (HUHUHUHU *sobs* HUHUHUH), I could have just bought something meaningful! I have lost all my cash mo nies that I have with me at that time… FOR REALS! (ang pera nga naman, parang tubig - hindi mo pa nahahawakan wala na.)

But then, we have earned some comps, like $200.00 in comps in exchange of $2,000 waaaahhhhhhh. So to feel much better about that losses, we ate at some cafe inside the casino using our comp. I just took advantage of everything from my bottled water San Pellegrino to my food, just a make believe that it’s a break even. WAHHHHHHHH. IT IS NOT! It’ll never be…

Too much for moaning and groaning, yeah I had fun that early morning spur of the moment.

We got home by 7:30 AM (Sunday)… We drove by Bally’s (it’s just in front of our development) and worked out for like 45 minutes, o diba? WE are NOT losers!

Do you love Oysters?

I love Oysters! I could eat a whole bunch of em’. I could say that I could live with just eating Oysters alone cause they’re really my favorite, here’s one fact about Oysters… Oysters provide a low calorie protein - that are an excellent source of zinc, vitamin B-12, and omega-3 fatty acids.

Do you know that oyster is used as a metaphor in an idiomatic saying, “The world is your oyster”, which means that the whole world is laid out before you like a wonderful living buffet.

I was ounce in Louisiana and I saw Gulf oysters. Gulf Oysters grow wild in the reefs of Louisiana. They vary in saltiness according to the season, becoming sweetest in the spring when the marshes are flooded with fresh water.

Well, I have found a great website - BeOysterAware.com website is dedicated to educating the oyster consuming public. It provides a thorough background on Vibrio vulnificus and the health conditions that place an individual in the at-risk category, as well as present tasty oyster products with reduced risk for all consumers to enjoy, including at-risk consumers. So, eat your savory oyster treats raw, steamed, fried, charbroiled, grilled….whatever your appetite desires, just BE OYSTER AWARE!
